The Future

make a difference

through fitness and soccer

I want to use my passion for fitness and soccer to make a difference in people’s lives and in the community.

I am Ava Curtright. I am part of the 2023 class. I play soccer for Blaine High School, Whatcom FC Rangers, and Surf Academy. I am passionate about fitness, soccer, and leadership. In my spare time I enjoy paddle boarding, walking our dogs, spending time with friends and family, going to movies, and training.

I will be attending college for a kinesiology or exercise science degree. After college, I want to help others live a healthy lifestyle and coach soccer at the club level. I want to use my degree and leadership skills to continue to give back to the community.

Ava Curtright Soccer Portrait

what They’re Saying

Coaches and trainers

Ava has proven herself to be a quality soccer player who has a strong
technical foundation, an astute soccer mind, and the desire to just get
stuck in. She runs hard, she tackles hard, she works hard. Her abilities
are surpassed only by her desire to become the best soccer player she
can be. Most importantly, she is an outstanding human being.

Ike Onyeador

Club Coach, WFC Rangers (Former)

She has the speed, intelligence, and skill to build from the back. She is very coachable and a good man marker. She does an excellent job at defending but also is amazing at getting forward and following through with the attack. She is a tenacious player with great vision of the field.

Giovanni Quesada

Coach, Blaine High School
